Novelis Advanz™ 6HS – s615 is a heat treatable product specifically designed and optimized for high strength requirements. This product offers an excellent balance of properties: superior formability in the as-supplied temper, high in service strength and excellent bending and crash behavior. Novelis Advanz™ 6HS – s615 has a wide array of applications for general structure and crash energy absorption such as engine supports, cross members, transmission tunnel and front and rear crash members. The product shows excellent formability and bake hardening response. Due to its superior in-service strength, this alloy is ideal for down-gauging both skin and structure components. Novelis Advanz™ 6HS s650 is Novelis’ latest offering to the high strength 6xxx series and caters to structural applications requiring high in-service strength. A tailor-made alloy, specifically designed for high strength requirements without compromising its forming characteristics, Novelis Advanz™ s650 has a 15-20% T6 strength advantage over incumbent high strength 6xxx, coupled with excellent crash behavior and corrosion resistance. Predominantly an alloy of choice for structural parts with high demand on forming and high strength after paint bake, typical areas of application are A-pillar, B pillar, roof traverse, rocker, inner and floor panels, bumpers and battery cases along with various other structural reinforcements. This product exhibits excellent after paint bake response which in turn provides high in-service strength making it an ideal material for light weighting of structural components. Novelis Advanz™ 7UHS – s701 is a product developed for structural applications requiring high inservice strength. The 7xxx alloy provides the highest T6 strength among current aluminum alloys and has significantly higher strength over incumbent 6xxx alloys. This in turn offers potential for lightweighting of structural parts over advanced high strength steel options without compromising performance requirements. The alloy-temper can be optimized to provide good balance between strength, crash performance and corrosion resistance. Advanz™ 7UHS – s701 is an excellent choice for strength-dominated structural components, such as A-pillar, B-pillar, door beams as well as various other structural reinforcements. This product exhibits excellent specific strength and specific energy absorption along with good hot formability making it an ideal material for lightweighting of structural reinforcements. Novelis Fusion™ 6HF – e200 is a heat treatable product for applications with extremely demanding formability requirements. This product is recommended for outer applications such as body sides and decklid outers. This product has an excellent balance of properties for forming and strength. In addition, it offers a unique advantage in the hemming process enabling sharp feature lines and rope hem designs that permit the reduction in perceived gap between adjacent panels. Novelis Fusion™ 6HF – s200 is a heat treatable product for applications with extremely demanding formability requirements. This product is recommended for inner applications such as decklid and door inners and other closure inner panels. This product has an excellent balance of properties for forming and strength. In addition, it offers a unique advantage in the hemming process enabling sharp feature lines and rope hem designs that permit the reduction in perceived gap between adjacent panels. Novelis Fusion™ 6HF – s200RW is a heat treatable product for applications with extremely demanding formability requirements. Fusion™ 6HF – s200RW offers the ultimate additional solution for remote laser welding of aluminium 6xxx alloys without the need for any additional metal. Access to the weld area is enhanced, welding speed is increased and the stability of the process is improved in comparison with standard laser welding processes. This product is recommended for inner panels with high formability requirements such as door inners or other closure inner panels. With Fusion™ 6HF – s200RW “near-edge” welding, a reduction in the flange length to as little as 5mm becomes possible. All values are typical.

In recent years, a groundswell of negative publicity and consumer backlash has emerged against disposable plastic products, particularly bottles. Images of bottles overflowing landfills and adversely impacting ecosystems have soured consumers and drawn the ire of environmental organizations and activists worldwide.
