ArmEcoTour is an Armenian travel company providing ecological tours within Armenia, alongside with outbound tourism. ArmEcoTour travel agency, working out further plans to develop tourism in Armenia in its way, tries to achieve its own place in the dense diversity of tourist market. We gradually acquire access to wide network of colleagues in different tour companies, universities, museums throughout Armenia and beyond its borders, and we make considerable use of it. Our guests come from all walks of life: some are archaeologists, some have a lifetime passion for history, others have no prior knowledge at all. Here we offer something new for our guests, working with local people. That is to say, as a company we permanently try to use small, local and authentic travel partners, avoiding international chains and trying to find locally owned places to stay and local food to eat. Partly this is a matter of principle: partly we just think it makes a more enjoyable eco holiday! We are also keen to prove to people living near archaeological sites that preserving these places we can provide an income through our interest in their heritage and enlarge the number of foreigners, boosting the development of tourism in Armenia.
