    Originally, Regal Autosport International (Limited) started life as “Regal Car Engineers” in 1988 and later changed to its current name after business growth lead to working with more businesses internationally.1988-1994In the early days, Regal Autosport was located in floating bridge road in a humbly sized garage with its focus on the repair and maintenance of the period popular Triumph range and Lotus models including the S1 to S4 and other Lotus cars of the era.1994-2005Progressing into the mid-1990s Regal Autosport relocated to a much larger facility based in Malvern Road, Shirley which housed a much larger reception, customer waiting area, warehouse for the ever-growing telesales and growing online store alongside a much larger workshop to support the growing upgrade side of the business.During this period Regal Autosport focussed on the exploding 90s scene in Japanese and Vauxhall tuning with engine conversions and big turbo conversions being a common customer request. The most notable conversions during this time were the countless Toyota Supra 800hp builds, Subaru Imprezas, Cavalier/Calibra big turbo conversions and even a Nova with two C20LET engines.As well as this Regal Autosport grew to be one of the largest dealers in the UK for Superchips and REVO ECU software and gained its first experience with rolling road/dyno operation with a 2WD Maha dyno.
