The quality of a clear sheet is defined by the calender unit . For this reason, particular attention must be paid to the chromium plated and high-mirror polished solid calender rolls. These represent the quality for producing sheets with perfect surfaces. . The calender is a series of hard pressure rollers used to finish or smooth a sheet of plastic materials. These rollers are designed on vertical direction for PP, PS, PET however, for PET sheet only, rolls design as horizontal direction to reach high thicknesses while keeping homogeneity. Kuzey calender units provide high precision concentricity and flexural strength, even the thinnest of sheets can be manufactured with extreme accuracy. Each Roll is controlled with a separate thermo-regulators. Thermo-regulators can be adjusted separately from 10 – 90° C. Calender Thickness Motion control is by the servo and gearbox system.

This chromium plating is used for some applications, such as seaming rolls for filters and deepdrawn aluminum cans. It guarantees a very good wear resistance and a low friction coefficient.

Crown caps for your customised need. We manufacture crown cork bottle caps with different lining materials and colour options to meet your needs. Crown caps are suitable for glass, plastic, and aluminium bottles, and can be used for all kind of beverages. Crown caps are possible to get with standard Pantone PMS colours, plain one colour printing or multicolour CMYK printing. Also, it is possible to apply customer designed printing, including inside printing. For printing we use the offset printing method. Inside printing gives you more opportunities for product differentiation and marketing. Our crown caps are made of tinplated steel (TP, electrolytically coated or lined with tin) or tin free steel (TFS, chromium plated steel). We use BPA-free lacquers. A range of crown caps are available in standard stock colours. Plain stock colours of crown caps are available by the box.

The alloy can be readily blanked and formed. The material can be resistance welded, brazed, and soldered. SS 430 is resistant to atmospheric corrosion and fresh water, but it not resistant to most salts and sea water. It is resistant to scaling by oxidation up to about 1400°F. Available Sizes: SS 430 is available from Hamilton Precision Metals as strip product in thicknesses from 0.001” to 0.050” (0.0254 mm to 1.27 mm) in widths up to 12.0” (304.8 mm). It shows the actual gas concentration on a recessed LCD display and responds to hazardous concentrations within seconds giving an audible as well as a visual alarm. Monitox plus is very small and lightweight. Its housing is made of sturdy, galvanized ABS, withstanding the harshest industrial environments. The chromium plated surface protects it from electromagnetic interference. Handling the Compur Monitox plus is quick and easy. Sensor replacement is a breeze since a plug-in socket sensor allows replacement without even opening the instrument. A recessed button on the front side of the instrument allows easy access to a menu for automatic zero and calibration. Thus even calibrations can be done without opening the instrument. Two alarms can easily be set to any value within the measuring range of the instrument by push-button.
